We chose Complete Holiday Homes to let and manage our property in 2015, as we were finding we weren’t able to visit our apartment as often as we liked and since that point in time we can’t praise them highly enough. We now have a great team who keep an eye on the property when we aren’t there and arrange for any upkeep/repairs to be carried out when needed. Now when we want to visit the heating and hot water is on, the beds are made up and the apartment is immaculately presented. Even better, when we go home we no longer have to strip the beds and clean – all that is taken care of for us. Then the income we gain from the bookings they arrange for us is a pleasant bonus. There has only been one time that we accepted a booking to later find we were free and would have liked to visit but because of the income from that rental we decided to visit another area where we had always wanted to visit and had the additional income to splash out and make it a special weekend. Complete Holiday Homes managed our holiday cottage The Royal Engineers Mews for over five years up until we sold the cottage in September 2018 and Ken, Annette and their staff were unfailingly courteous and professional. They always tried to achieve maximum bookings and were flexible when we wanted to make changes as our circumstances changed. In times of crisis Complete dealt with repairs quickly and thoroughly as they have their own tried and tested team of tradesmen to call upon. Deposits were collected from guests and insurances, gas safety certificates etc were always kept up to date, which released us from the stress of having to do this and make sure all was constantly up to date. Initially Complete just obtained bookings for us but when we traveled for two years they fully managed the property without any worries for us. In October 2017 I had the opportunity to move into a retirement flat as my large detached house in Gosport, (Grove House) was getting too much for me, but I did not want to sell it. The house next door to me (Cambrian House) was being let by Complete Holiday Homes and I knew how well it was being looked after as I had been invited in by a lovely couple on holiday there and so I saw the beautiful condition the house was being kept in. I also got to know the gardener/maintenance man and saw how meticulous he was. Therefore I had no hesitation in approaching Ken who owns Complete Holiday Homes to see if he was interested in letting my property, which indeed he was. At the time he came to see the house my son was with me and he was very impressed with Ken, which was a comfort to me as obviously my family have my interests close at heart.

For me I get the best of both worlds. I still own my own house and it is being meticulously looked after by a professional company and after a recent visit I have to say it is possibly being looked after better than when I lived there as I never used to clean my skirtings down every week – (who does)!  I now get a regular income and the maintenance issues are taken care of without the worry of finding someone to do them, so I have no real worries normally associated with the letting of a property. Ken is a very likeable guy, very genuine and I have grown to have the utmost faith in him. I can thoroughly recommend Complete Holiday Homes if you have a property to let. I first met Ken and his team when I was debating whether to let out our apartment via a longer term tenancy agreement or a shorter holiday home basis. I must admit I was skeptical of holiday lettings due to some adverse national press on the subject but I was really impressed with Ken’s knowledge of the sector and this attention to detail. After deliberation we opted for the shorter term holiday rental route and Ken helped advise us on all aspects of what needed doing to set up the property, from health and safety to furniture and linen. His team then swiftly arranged the marketing without any hitches including a stunning video tour of the property and its surroundings. Within a short period attractive bookings started rolling in and we soon realised we were dealing with an experienced and knowledgeable company.
