Windbrake House is an individually stunning, intimate and luxurious, detached six bedroom house located in the charming southern coastal village of Alverstoke, Gosport, Hampshire, situated within metres of the beautiful Stanley Park and the unspoilt Stokes Bay, allowing some views of the Solent and the Isle of Wight. Accommodation

Windbrake House offers six double bedrooms sleeping up to 13 guests with all linen included and one put bed can be placed in one of the bedrooms if required.. Three out of the five bedrooms have attached en-suites with some offering partial sea views. In addition some of the bedrooms can also accommodate children’s cots for younger guests.

The five high specification bathrooms all have quality fitted showers plus you will also find two roll top baths and one larger designer bath comfortably able to accommodate two bathers with subtle mood lighting. All toweling is provided.

The lounge boasts a wall mounted log burning cassette and a large double ended chaise lounge, perfect to sit on in front of the fire with your feet up and catch up with the rest of your party.

The open plan kitchen/diner is also a perfect space to congregate and comes equipped with all essential mod cons for full self catering including a large range style gas cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, etc and there is even a second fridge/freezer if required. The dining table seats 10/12 making it the perfect place to enjoy meals together.

Along the ground floor hall way there is also a separate breakfast room which will comfortably seat 8 people and overlooks the garden, plus a good sized south west facing conservatory to enjoy when the sun is out.

The south facing garden offers outside seating, ideal for a summers day or evening, a good sized lawned area, plus a large hardstanding area with BBQ. Access is provided from the garden into the neighbouring Stanley Park and the seafront.

Linen and towels are provided and are changed weekly with a mid week maid service available on request. Child cots, highchairs and stairgates are also available at no extra cost. (If cots are provided guests are asked to please bring their own child’s bedding).

Please note that this is our owners family home, so there will be a certain amount of personal possessions around (but not too many), please respect it and treat it as you would your own.

Prior to your stay we are happy to help arrange any activities you may wish to organise and answer any questions regarding the local area or things to possibly do. We can also help organise catering options at the property, be it an ‘a la carte’ meal for a special occasion, a hearty breakfast to see you through the day, afternoon tea, or an informal barbecue in the garden. Finally the owners of the house do have a family cat called Missy who would love to stay with you and be fed now and again and petted once and awhile (with all her food provided), or if you are not fully comfortable with this we can arrange for her to go on her own little holiday….

Q - What time is check in/out?

A - Check in times are between 2 - 6pm (unless agreed otherwise) with checkout by 10am on day of departure. If an early check in or late departure time is required then we will do what we can to help, however if this is vital for your plans we recommend guests book the extra night.

Q - Are towels and linen provided?

A - Bedding, linen and bathroom towels are provided with linen and towels changed weekly.
