Waterfront Quay is a superb 2nd floor 2 bedroom apartment sat right on the edge of the pedestrianised Gosport town centre in Hampshire, a seaside peninsular with over 24 miles of waterfront access. The apartment is situated directly opposite the marinas and foot passenger ferry which takes 4 minutes to cross the Historic Portsmouth Harbour to Portsmouth and Gunwharf Quays, with great views of the Harbour Entrance, HMS Victory, HMS Warrior and the iconic Spinnaker Tower.

Accommodation

The apartment has been recently converted and upgraded with a stylish modern feel and has been finished and furnished to a good 4* star standard with fantastic views over all the goings on within the harbour entrance and is only a short 5 minute Ferry Ride to Portsmouth and Gunwharf Quays with great transport links directly to London, The Isle of Wight, France and beyond.

The apartment has 2 double bedrooms (one en-suite), a main bathroom off the entrance hallway and a large open plan lounge/diner/kitchen with great views of the harbour.

The main lounge/dining/kitchen area is modern and contemporary with laminated flooring and 3 picture windows offering great views of what’s going on that day in the harbour and is very well furnished with a comfortable large corner sofa which converts to create additional sleeping for 2 people, a solid oak circular dining table with 6 comfortable high backed dining chairs, a large flat screen wall mounted TV, DVD player and music/I-Pod docking system.

The open plan kitchen is well fitted with clean modern warm beech effect units, Karndean flooring, inset lighting, modern worktops and breakfast bar, integral fridge, washing machine, stainless steel oven/hob/extractor hood, microwave, cafetiere and all other essential mod cons etc.

The master bedroom is off the entrance hallway with a softer carpeted floor, a large kingsize double bed which converts to create 2 singles, a large modern mirrored door wardrobe unit offering plenty of storage, a wall mounted flat screen TV plus an en-suite with corner shower, toilet, wash hand basin, tall towel rail and warm to the foot Karndean tiling to the floor.

The second bedroom is opposite with another large kingsize double bed which converts to create 2 singles, a modern wardrobe unit with both bedrooms having fresh white cotton linen and additional feather pillows available if required.

The main high spec bathroom has a ‘P’ shaped bath with shower over, toilet, wash hand basin, a tall towel rail and Kardean flooring. Crisp white towels are provided for each guest and are laid out on beds prior to your arrival.

Our prices advertised on our website are for up to 4 people over 2 bedrooms in large 5ft king size double beds that can split to create singles plus we can accommodate 2 more people within the lounge on a double bed settee at an additional charge of £25 per week/part week per head or we charge £25 per set of extra linen requested.

All linen and towels are provided and are changed weekly with a mid week maid service available on request. Child cots, highchairs and stairgates also available at no extra cost. (If cots are provided guests are asked to please bring their own childs bedding).

Prior to your stay we are happy to help arrange any activities you may wish to organise and answer any questions regarding the local area or things to possibly do. We can also help organise catering options at the property be it an ‘a la carte’ meal for a special occasion, a hearty breakfast to see you through the day or even afternoon tea. • Upon arrival, there is a small gradient 7ft long ramp.
• There a then a set of external stairs that take you right to the top of the building.
• There are 14 steps to the first flight that are 7″high by 9″ deep by 40″ wide at the most narrow point.
• You then come to two half landings.
• There are then 8 more steps to another half landing, all measuring 7″ high by 9″ deep by 30″ wide at the most narrow point.
• There are then 10 more steps to access the roof with a balcony and rubber matting flooring.
• The door to get into the building is 32″ wide.
• There is then a small half landing that is carpeted.
• There is then 5 more steps to reach the main door to the property which all measure 8″ high by 9″ deep by 43″ wide.
• The front door is 30″ wide.

Hall, Stairs, Landing and Passageways

• There is one hallway which is laminate flooring and is 30″ wide and lit by spotlights.

Sitting room/Lounge

• The sitting room is open plan with the dining room and kitchen.
• There is a slightly raised wooden threshold upon entrance and the door is 30″ wide.
• This area is laminate flooring.
• There is a 4 seater leather sofa with a foot stool, the furniture is moveable however there is good access around the whole area.
• This area is lit by a window and a chandelier style light.

Dining room

• As previously mentioned, this area is open plan with the kitchen and sitting room.
• Access to this area is the same as the sitting room.
• The main dining table is 31″ high and seats up to 4 guests with wooden chairs with upholstered cushions.
• The table is moveable however again there is plenty of access around the table.
• This area is lit by a window and a chandelier style light.

Kitchen

• The kitchen as previously mentioned is open plan and therefore accessible via the sitting room door.
• The floor covering is vinyl.
• The oven door drops down and the maximum height of this is 29″ high from the floor.
• The microwave is 36″ from the floor.
• Work surfaces/food preparation areas are 36″ from the floor.
• The cupboards containing crockery and foodstuffs are 56″ from the floor.
• The height of the highest shelf in the fridge is 21″ from the floor, the lowest drawer in the fridge is 11″ from the floor.
• The freezer is inside the fridge and is 26″ from the floor.

Q - What time is check in/out?

A - Check in times are between 2 - 6pm (unless agreed otherwise) with checkout by 10am on day of departure. If an early check in or late departure time is required then we will do what we can to help, however if this is vital for your plans we recommend guests book the extra night.

Q - Are towels and linen provided?

A - Bedding, linen and bathroom towels are provided with linen and towels changed weekly. Additional bedding, linen and bathroom towels are available at the cost of £25 per set, if required.
