We have worked hard to make our properties as family and child friendly as possible and have had lots of positive feedback to that effect.
We can accommodate all different types of groups from a couple looking for a quick last minute get away to large families of 19 (plus a few additional guests if required) for special get togethers such as birthdays, anniversaries and reunions, and will do all that we can to help ensure your break or celebration is as enjoyable as possible. If you require we can also help with in-house caterers and activities and we have lots to do locally in and around our area.
Gosport’s great location and close proximity to Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard, which is home to The Mary Rose, Nelson’s HMS Victory and the HMS Warrior helps to make the area special and with the addition of world class heritage sites, fun days out and great coastal trails, Gosport is packed full of surprises.
We are only a short ferry or hovercraft ride from The Isle of Wight and inland we are in easy reach of the wonderful New Forest National Park and the glorious chalk-based South Downs. Alternately you are only a 5 minute drive from The Alver Valley Country Park with it’s 17th Century Woodland Village on the outskirts of Gosport itself.
Also just a short 4 minute ferry ride away we are blessed with the wonderful Gunwharf Quays, a vibrant cosmopolitan area set around the quayside on the mouth of the harbour. Boasting over 90 designer retail outlets and 30 odd restaurants/cafes/bars and bistros, plus a 14 screen Vue Cinema, Bowling Alley, Casino, Comedy and Night Club there is plenty to keep you entertained.
Gunwharf Quays is also the waterside home of the iconic Spinnaker Tower which is the 2nd tallest publicly accessible building in the UK. The tower soars 560 feet above the ground and offers unrivalled views over Gosport, Portsmouth, further inland and out over The Solent towards The Isle of Wight and as far as the eye can see.
